At 14 months, you…

 …LOVE animals, especially dogs of all sizes!

…are still just blabbering, but you understand the words ball, shoe, Mama, Dada, cow, cup, book, kitty — and will go fetch those things from other rooms if you’re asked.

…still take two good naps a day. Hooray!

…love to brush your hair, but absolutely hate to brush your teeth.

…are a wonderful, fast walker (and recently joined Mom and Dad in another 10k)!

…are extremely independent.

…love to open and shut doors and drawers, especially the pantry and refrigerator. You also adore buttons and have started our dishwasher many, many times.

…haven’t mastered the church nursery, but you’re sweet for babysitters if you’re in your own home.

…are such a love bug, and will kiss and cuddle your stuffed cow, buffalo, dog, and baby dolls.

…still have a wonderful appetite, and tomatoes, cheese, bread, berries, and yogurt are among your favorite foods.

…are fairly mischievous, already trying to climb your bookshelf!

…LOVE books, and will bring them one-by-one to Mama and Dada before snuggling into our laps to read.

…are mesmerized by bubbles, but haven’t quite figured out that we blow them (not eat them).
