There’s no doubt about it — this baby is growing! We’ve been taking weekly “bump” pictures, and we’ll give you a good look soon.
In the meantime, we just found out that the wonderful folks that lead our Wednesday night Bible study are expecting a little one in September! This makes three pregnant mommies in our group right now (another couple is expecting just four days after us!) — fun times ahead for sure!
In other news, Adam is running a 10k in Davidson tomorrow — and Baby and I are mighty proud of him and his devotion, and we can’t wait to cheer his next half-marathon in June!
Here’s a rundown of how we’re doing at Week 20:
Baby’s size: This little one is weighing in around 10.5 ounces, and is 6.5 inches — the length of a banana!
What’s keeping Baby busy: Working taste buds and the ability to swallow are on tap for Baby this week, as well as plenty of movement.
What’s keeping Mom and Dad busy: We’ve spent the past few weeks working on small projects throughout the house — moving the guest room and finishing the office. Now, it’s finally time to dive into the nursery. I’ve saved a dozen or more images, and bookmarked TONS of precious nurseries…and I think we’re ready to begin making purchases. We’re excited about our gender-neutral plans, and can’t wait to share them once the room starts to come together!
Cravings: I’m back to strawberries…and I can’t get enough of them! Since we’re so far out of season, I’ve been trying to supplement with other fruits — fresh pineapple, pears, bananas — but nothing is as wonderful as a plump berry, and we’ve been picking up two pints on trips to the store.
Struggles: No complaints this week! My pre-baby jeans are long gone…but I’ve received some fun maternity options and plan to stop by a local consignment sale this weekend for more. Energy is high and the round ligament pain seems to have subsided. I’m ready for the second half of this great race!
Joys: Daddy is now able to feel Baby’s movement regularly…and the look on his face is priceless.

Okay, now I am craving strawberries!
So, so happy for you three!!!
I love you!
So proud of Daddy Adam for running the 10K and staying in shape as he becomes a new dad. Baby Eberle is sure to keep you running! Momma Lauren sure is looking slim and trim, with a precious little baby-bump! You two are in for a wonderful journey!
