Vacation Bible School at Grace Covenant Church was a hit! Claire attended with her good buddy Henry, and they enjoyed three packed mornings of “exploring” Operation Arctic.

The children studied Paul, the parable about building a house on the rock, and the story of Mary and Martha (who, Claire said, had “a really rough day because she was too busy picking up her toys to talk to Jesus”). Theology of a three year old, right? Ahem. Somehow it all tied into arctic fun, and the kids enjoyed “snowball” fights, building a penguin, and dining on klondike bars.

One of the highlights of camp was the bubble machine, which the church set up outside as the kiddos arrived and departed. Plus, Claire’s new favorite song:

All in all, awesome week. We can’t wait to return next year!

Next up: Auntie Haley Camp 🙂 Haley is coming to stay with us for much of July, and will be giving both girls lots of fun memories. We’re so excited!
