Claire’s preschool put on a precious Christmas program in mid-December. Can you imagine choreographing this many wee ones? Our little lady (in the red Santa dress with a striped turtleneck) did a great job — even when she got pretty sleepy at the end! Here are a few favorite clips:

To Mommy’s delight, this little lady loves (her version of) the ABCs!

We’re taking an informal poll: Does “uh oh!” count as a first word? This is how Claire woke from yesterday’s afternoon nap…

The first time Claire rolled over was November 6th. She’d been napping on her side and when I came in to check on her, she was on her tummy looking around. I chalked it up to a mistake, given the surprised (yet still groggy) look on her face.

The second time Claire rolled was this afternoon. I put her down on her activity mat and went into the living room to grab my water bottle. I was gone maybe 27 seconds, and returned to find her on her tummy, looking around again, this time with a little more confidence.

Curious, I grabbed Adam and the iPhone and flipped her back on her back. Little Miss waited two minutes before giving us this show:

Third time’s the charm. We’re one week shy of 4 months, and she’s got us on our toes. Congrats, Claire!
